This cake stand is decorative and very well made. I find the bronze color particularly beautiful. I've been using it as a decorative element on the table and even upside down as a basket. Just yesterday, I used it upside down to place a selection of hot sauce bottles on the table, and it looked great. The item is lightweight, yet sturdy enough for its intended use. got this set for an event and they turned out gorgeous! The decorated cupcakes were a little tall for the middle tiers, but the cake stand worked wonders to give us a variety of heights. The three-tiered trays were a little wobbly at first, but after tightening the screws, they held up well. And I was really surprised by how much stuff came in this set!
